Garlic Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz 450g Brussels sprouts, rinsed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese or to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC) with the rack placed in the middle.
  • Trim the bottom of the Brussels sprouts and slice each in half from top to bottom.
  • Lightly oil a rimmed baking sheet (or line it with parchment paper if preferred).
  • Pat the Brussels sprouts dry with paper towels and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add olive oil, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  • Arrange the Brussels sprouts on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down, in a single layer.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown and caramelized, adjusting time if necessary.
  • Transfer the roasted Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot!
