Method

- Wearing gloves, slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise. Use a small spoon to remove seeds and membranes.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic powder, cheddar cheese, and chives if using.
- In a separate bowl, mix Panko bread crumbs with melted butter.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture. Top with the buttered crumbs.
- Place on a baking pan and bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool 5–10 minutes before serving.
