These easy jalapeño poppers are a game day favorite! Jalapeños are stuffed with a creamy cheese filling, topped with a buttery bread crumb crust, and baked until perfectly golden and bubbly.

- 12 jalapeños
- 6 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives optional
- ¼ cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Wearing gloves, slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise. Use a small spoon to remove seeds and membranes.
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic powder, cheddar cheese, and chives if using.
In a separate bowl, mix Panko bread crumbs with melted butter.
Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture. Top with the buttered crumbs.
Place on a baking pan and bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool 5–10 minutes before serving.
